Witchhunt or fighting graft?

I have tried to resist the urge of coughing, twice stopped breathing to see if that would suppress the dry cough but to no avail. I just gave myself away because now people around me know i have an infection! This is the same feeling i have today the whole day i have resisted attempt to give a critical eye on no doubt the biggest topic of the day! PLO -VS Mbarire, it seems i cant draw the line between a journalist and a commentator, so for today please let me look at these two.

No doubt Kenyans are asking questions, if you watched Jimmy Gathu and Mutegi Njau this morning on power breakfast  you will appreciate the level of concern, but what remains unanswered is who is telling half truths and who is honest. I will not pretend to be an expert but i will read their lips.
First allegations that Mbarire tried to bribe PLO with about 100k, Hmmm? 100,000? well that be the case Mbarire was supposed to go to PLO's office to present the cash?! again that be the case, KACC is known to frame people through marked money just to trap them in the act! It would have been say, unthoughtful of Mbarire to bribe PLO at KACC. I don't even want to touch on the check for charity issue!

I think this is wrong even if its is fighting graft! Why would you dangle a carrot to a hungry rabbit if you don't intend to feed it just to confirm rabbits eat carrots? My moral argument is, catch them in the act! Don't entice them then accuse them of accepting you bait its Immoral! against rules of natural justice.

Back to Mbarire, luck was on her side she didn't turn up it would have been a different story (God saved her from the evil man) i bet she would be watching herself on poorly recorded pictures either from CCTV or in some videos taken by bad cameramen hurrying to capture evidence!  That not withstanding my good friend PLO went ahead and even displayed a text message from madam showing she will be running late.
Who is fooling us?
Attempted or desire to bribe an anti graft official is unthinkable. But of late too many accusations to this body. Remember the Richard Onyonka's story? The one he allegedly used CDF money to buy sugar? how much was it? how much is the annual allocation of CDF to that constituency? do the math it was impossible to have such money in the CDF kitty as alleged, thats my take.  Another story that vitiates the workings of KACC.

I am not against fighting graft but lets not be blinded by the urge to demonstrate the obvious! Let the graft war be a real fight. I believe in PLO, i know he can and has done it but i doubt if i trust him, the outcome of this cat fight will endear him to us or cast aspersions to his character!
I leave you with social media take on the CAT FIGHT!

Is it only me who sees something terribly fishy with the Mbarire PLO story? 100K?

    • Isaac Ngere Konguka caro am not sure if corruption is fought in secret anymore since recounting all the developed nations these corrupt deals are made public, remember rockerfeller case, japan minister for reconstruction after tsunami and several others were made public, why is kenya afraid of making these things public, i dont think PLO compromised his profesionalism in any way. PLO is not acting a movie, he is simply keeping kenyans, to who he is answerable and a custodian of their office aware of the goings on.... it happens allover the world... kenyans tusiogope jamani, it is the right way to do things
